Excursion at Kioroshi Formation
We visited small outcrops of the Kioroshi Formation, Shimosa Group, distributed in Inzai, Chiba. We found many shell beds within unconsolidated sandstone. We measured sections and collected molluscan fossils for paleoenvironmental analyses.
